NPP Organizes First Ever Youth Conference In Zebilla I McBashMedia
The constituency Youth Wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party of the Bawku West Constituency in the Upper East Region of Ghana has organized a program to ignite the youth of the NPP in the Constituency to make sure the teeming youth of the Constituency and Ghana as a whole.
The Constituency youth organizer of the party in the Bawku West District, Mr. Samuel Akumbo Wakiki, who is the brain behind the program which was on the theme "igniting the patriotic spirit of the youth for unity; a catalyst for breaking the eight", charged the youth to be up and doing in disseminating the good work and policies of the Akuffo Addo -Bawumia led government to all and sundry.
He reiterated the urgent need for the rank and file of the party especially the youth to have patience with the leadership of the party and always avail themselves in the activities of the party.
The Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Lawyer Anthony Anamoo advised patriots in the Constituency to work in unity devoid of camps. He says camps in the party will do more harm than good to the party and therefore the need for unity.
The District Chief Executive for the Bawku West District, Alhaji Ahmed Tahiru Issahaku also added that if the former Member of Parliament for the Zebilla constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, Hon Frank Fuseini Adongo had gone back to Parliament during the 2020 general elections, the issue of an opposition member being the Speaker of Ghana's Parliament would not have happened and therefore the need for the party to work towards getting a Member of Parliament for the Constituency on the ticket of their noble party. He added that as the District Chief Executive for the Zebilla constituency, he will gladly work with whoever emerges as the Parliamentary candidate of the party in the impending primaries of the party in the Constituency.
Former MP and former deputy Upper East Regional Minister, Hon Frank Fuseini Adongo called on the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Employment Agency to as a matter of urgency establish "One District, One Factory in the Bawku West District to enable the teeming youth get jobs.
The deputy CEO of the National Youth Employment Agency (NYEA) Alhaji Ibrahim Bashiru on his part reiterated the need for the youth in Zebilla to continue to rally behind the New Patriotic Party for continues development of the Constituency and Ghana in general.
