AAMUSTED Begins GUSA Campaign with a Massive First Win I McBashMedia

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 27th Ghana Universities Sports Association (GUSA) Games currently underway at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

The two-week competition started from November 4, 2022.

AAMUSTED, your University, is fully represented  thanks to the unflinching support from Management, the willingness of students to avail themselves for the various events, and of course, the staff working as coaches and offering all manner of services on behalf of AAMUSTED at the games. 

This is our maiden appearance at the games but our teams are bubbling with potential for a strong outing even though the task ahead is daunting to say the least.

Our charges would be competing for laurels in football, volleyball, handball,    netball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, and all field and track athletic events.

As it is often said, impending events usually would cast their shadows. 

Ladies and gentlemen, I am happy to announce that the AAMUSTED Men's Volleyball   Team started the University's overall campaign early morning on Sunday, November 6, 2022, and made minced meat of UHAS. Our team cuts them into sizes, backhanding aside in a *THREE-SET WIN* to send shivers down the spines of other opponents waiting in line to suffer the dexterity  of great AAMUSTED.

Our teams are upbeat knowing that they have the entire University Community  rallying behind. They have not forgotten the visit and gifts from the Alumni Association, the visit of the Vice-Chancellor and some of his management members, and the special session they had with Psychologist,  Mr.Ficus Gyasi during their two-week camping.

Please, let's make time to say a prayer for our teams. It would be great if you also make time to visit KNUST to cheer on our charges as they seek glory for AAMUSTED.

Claim:  Hon. Alijata used her MP's common fund to construct the Sakalu CHPS Compound. Verdict:  From very hardcore facts, the documents show that Hon. Alijata Sulemana Gbentie used her common fund to start the construction of the project. A young and practicing midwife who works at the Tumu Municipal Hospital saved the life of a woman in labour by the roadside. She had to work without any medical equipment but still demonstrated great skill to save the life of the unborn baby as well as the mother.    Madam Nawiadima Samankina was seen trying her best to deliver the baby by the street while balancing her own child on her back. She had to cut short her own schedule as soon as she saw the struggling woman on the street. The action took place in a town called Tumu in the Sissala East Municipality of the Upper West Region. It happened close to the Tumu-Bolga road at the roundabout on the 2nd of August 2023.  Assisting her was a physician assistant Mr. Mumuni Sidik and Umuhera Yahaya an Enrolled Nurse.
