Education: No Examination for basic school pupils this term by NaCCA I mcbashmedia

The term is far spent and most schools in Ghana now will be preparing their pupils for their regular end of term examination, for that reason most basic schools in Ghana are mountain pressure on government to release text books for the new curriculum for the lower levels. But as we speak now no text book have been distributed to any school by the Ghana education services, due to the inability of government to provide these books most teachers were wondering how they will assess the students this term. There is information coming from above on that subject matter.

The National Council for curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) Executive Secretary Dr. Armah, there will be no End of Term Examinations for Primary Schools. So all heads should take note. Teachers will be trained next term on Assessments.

JHS and SHS will have their normal Examinations.
Children will not be repeated and Class sizes would be reduced. Current Primary 6 students will write a new standard based BECE in the year 2022

Assessment banks would be created by the NaCCA for teachers to assess.
Also teachers can make little changes in the Assessments per your environment
Confirmed no exams .
Dr Armah announced this at a NACA stakeholders workshop at ATTC in Accra. Official circulars wld be out soon
