Yenyeya Mining Group, a Talensi based indigenous Mining Company licensed in 2007 and registered under the Companies Act of 1963 has found it vital to provide an update to all stakeholders in the mining sector in the Upper East Region and the general public interested in the matter.

The Managing Director of Yenyeya Mining Group, Hon Charles Taleog Ndabon in a press statement vividly disclosed that mining has been his business for the past twenty five ( 25) years and he was already in the mining business before bringing Mr Wei Xing, the Chief Executive Officer of Shaanxi Mining Limited, now Earl International Group Ghana Gold Limited from China in 2008 to render mining support services to his outfit, Yenyeya Mining Group. He further added that he and Wei Xing had an agreement that their operations were to be small scale mining, however in 2017, when Shaanxi, now Earl International wanted to expand to a large scale mining, they together had another agreement which is still authentic. 


Mr Ndabon moreover added that he has not surrendered his mining license to Mr Wei Xing because he has no reason in performing such a ridiculous act and his outfit, that is Yenyeya Mining Group was not part of any small scale mining association that signed an agreement with Mr Wei Xing, the Chief Executive Officer of Earl International.

He further strongly added that his company has not recruited or hire anyone and not even the Upper East Regional Minister, Stephen Yakubu to negotiate any form of business or sign any form of agreement on his behalf together with the leadership of Earl International.

Mr Ndabon reiterated his commitment to fighting for his right and therefore will not let any Chief Executive Officer of Mineral Commission or any traditional ruler to conspire with the Chinese man to forcefully snatch away his business.

A young and practicing midwife who works at the Tumu Municipal Hospital saved the life of a woman in labour by the roadside. She had to work without any medical equipment but still demonstrated great skill to save the life of the unborn baby as well as the mother.    Madam Nawiadima Samankina was seen trying her best to deliver the baby by the street while balancing her own child on her back. She had to cut short her own schedule as soon as she saw the struggling woman on the street. The action took place in a town called Tumu in the Sissala East Municipality of the Upper West Region.
