Students Spent Hours Looking For Their Examination centers I Mcbashmedia
Today happens to be a day set by the university community of AAM-USTED to sit for their end of semester examination, students will from now till 30th of this month writing papers upon papers ranging from education courses to programme base courses and which will also include liberal courses. The first two days are slated for educational courses for all levels in the school, today level 100s wrote communication skills, level 200s wrote Foundamental issues in Special Education and level 300s also wrote guidance and counseling at 2pm.
Speaking to level 200s students immediately after their paper, they complained of their inability to locate their centers. A student who agreed to speak to Mcbashmedia undercover said, he spent close to an hour looking for his examination hall to write his paper.
He said the school have no proper system for students to identify their examination centers for exams, he also said you have to manually visit all halls allocated for that particular course to see where your index number falls. He said some courses can take more than 6 halls for the examination, imagine going through all these halls looking for your index number, Is that not frustrating to say the least.
Another student said he has to enter the examination center late due to his ability to locate his center before the start of the paper, he said starting an exam late can affect your score on that paper.
The students are therefore calling on the SRC and school authorities to find a lasting solution to this canker hampering the freedom of students during examination, they said other schools have ways to easily identify their examination centers without manually visiting all examination centers before the paper. They are calling the school management to fix this problem within the shortest possible time.
