Mr. Isaac Friko Asunke goes Unopposed for TESCON I Mcbashmedia

Mr. Isaac Friko Asunke (Sir IKE) who is a student of AAM-USTED was through vetting yesterday as a contestant for TESCON president, his greatest contender has been disqualified after the vetting process. 



The vetting happened yesterday at the New Auditorium by some Ashanti regional executives(NPP), the vetting started from the hours of 1pm to 6pm. All the aspirants for this year elections were present with their supports to cheer them up, the vetting went smoothly after the crunch meeting between aspirants and the Ashanti regional executives of the New Patriotic Party. 


The vetting went on and some candidates were disqualified, some of the reasons stated for  disqualifications were; your weak performance in the vetting process (marks obtained below 50%) and the level of education( level 400). These two categories of candidates were disqualified from the process, there were two contesting candidates for the position of TESCON president but unfortunately one was disqualified making Mr. Issac Asunke  unopposed. Some of the other persons disqualified were Mr. Manaf who went for TESCON secretary, the others  were level 400 students like Yakubu. 



Vetting was over but the team told the aspirants there will be elections this coming Saturday- 24th of April 2021, candidates have been ask to campaign even if you are going unopposed. They said the unopposed candidates will vote yes or no and the other positions apart from the president, secretary and one other positions the rest have two candidates each.

A young and practicing midwife who works at the Tumu Municipal Hospital saved the life of a woman in labour by the roadside. She had to work without any medical equipment but still demonstrated great skill to save the life of the unborn baby as well as the mother.    Madam Nawiadima Samankina was seen trying her best to deliver the baby by the street while balancing her own child on her back. She had to cut short her own schedule as soon as she saw the struggling woman on the street. The action took place in a town called Tumu in the Sissala East Municipality of the Upper West Region.
