Robbery And Gunshots At Tanaso Market I Mcbashmedia

This incident happened yesterday at around Tanaso market in kwadaso constituency in Kumasi in the hours of 2AM to 3AM Tuesday, they actually robbed many homes around the market. 

An eye witness who spoke to McBash media Mr. Shani revealed that, more than six laptops were taken from the students around there, a student who was coming from campus at that time got himself injured with a knife by the unknown robbers. 

Another eye witness who corroborated what Mr. Shani said was Mr. Babia Ganiu, he said the gunshots from the robbers caused a scene and residents around Tanaso came out to see what was happening. Mr. Ganiu said due to the gunshots residents where afraid to go closer to the robbery scene, they have to stay closer to their hostels and was trying to report to the kwadaso police patrol team. 

Mr. Ganiu said a gap in communication caused the police to arrive to the robbery scene very late, after the robbers finished robbing and made away with students items, he said the said injured man have since been sent to a near by health facility to receive health care.

A young and practicing midwife who works at the Tumu Municipal Hospital saved the life of a woman in labour by the roadside. She had to work without any medical equipment but still demonstrated great skill to save the life of the unborn baby as well as the mother.    Madam Nawiadima Samankina was seen trying her best to deliver the baby by the street while balancing her own child on her back. She had to cut short her own schedule as soon as she saw the struggling woman on the street. The action took place in a town called Tumu in the Sissala East Municipality of the Upper West Region.
