Be Mindful Of His Coming Back - Rev. Lazarus Akabori Tells Congregation I McBashMedia

Christians have been advised to be mindful of their Celebration of Christmas which marks the birth of Jesus order not to indulge in immoral acts. A senior pastor of Redemption Assemblies of God in Bolgatanga Rev Dr. Lazarus Akabori urged Christians to live exemplary lives and be mindful of the second coming of Jesus. He encouraged believers to always have faith in God and pray without ceasing. He advised the youth not to imitate other people’s way of life in order not to be carried away by worldly lifestyles. Rev Dr. Lazarus Akabori also admonished parents to always teach their children the word of God and when they grow, they will not depart from it.

In a related development, the lead pastor of Stars of Heaven Ministry in Bolgatanga,Prophet David Rauf has admonished Christians to show love to their neighbors as they celebrate Christmas. He reiterated that love can be demonstrated by Christians by giving to the poor and needy as well as visiting the sick. He appealed to the youth not to misinterpret the Celebration of Christmas by involving themselves in alcohol, fornication, adultery and stealing which are key acts of bad deeds. He says winning souls for Christ through evangelism and good deeds this season is the best duty of a Christian. He charged the youth to be mindful of their lives, respect authority and the elderly. He reminded christians all over the world to aware that their bodies are the temple of God and therefore engaging in alcoholism, and other immoral acts is a big blow to their relationship with God, hence the urgent need for repentance.
