Nana Nsafoa Yaw Karikari enstooled 'Benkumhene' of ASU I Mcbashmedia

The Ashanti Students Union (ASU) who yesterday held their second meeting enstooled sub chiefs to help the ASU hene in performing his duties, is a tradition in the Ashanti kingdom where sub chiefs are enstooled to perform specific functions under the king.
During yesterday's meeting in front of Opoku Ware I hall, a number of chiefs were enstooled from the association to hall presidents. All hall presidents for the various halls in Akenten Appiah Menka university of skills training and entrepreneurial development (AAM-USTED) were enstooled as chiefs for their various halls.
Nana Nsafoa Yaw Karikari who was previously called Mr. Nsafoa Emmanuel will now be the Benkumhene for ASU, as tradition demands he will be sitting at the left hand side of the king Nana Antwi Agyei Brempong I. Speaking to Mcbashmedia after his enstoolment, Nana Nsafoa promised to Conduct himself well after his title have been changed now to Benkumhene. He also said he will lift the name of ASU to greater heights .

Nana Nsafoa Yaw Karikari was the immediate past contestant for the position of NUGS local president in AAM-USTED, he is a level 200 Information Technology Education student.
Present at the meeting yesterday was the SRC president for AAM-USTED Mr. Richard Opoku, all the three hall presidents, mynd105.1fm and other notable personalities within the campus of AAM-USTED.
