GNATOC Holds Elections Today, Four Gentlemen root for Chairmanship Position I Mcbashmedia

The Ghana National Association of Teachers on Campus (GNATOC) is going for a second round of voting after voting was truncated On the 12th February, 2020.

Today again the association will be going for anther elections to elect its leaders to man the affairs of the association, all the four portfolios have been filed by 14 qualified candidates. 

The position of GNATIC chair have four candidates running for the position; Mr. Peter Otabil, Mr. Thomas Addai, Joseph Armstrong Baidoo and Mr. Nicholas Sowah. 



That of Secretary have five contestants namely;   Mr. Apraku Daniel, Mr. Frank-Simons Dadzie, Miss Torgbenu Olivia Abla, Mr. Rexford Kwaku Gyamfi, Issac Akolgo Akugre.



The Treasurer position have only two namely; Miss Lydia Yibie and Miss Esther Adjei.



The final position GNATLAS REP have three names contesting namely; Miss Patience Mawufemor Buahini, Miss Linda Tindan and Miss Juliet Dzifa Nyaletey. 



Voting is about to start in front of the GNATOC office on campus. 

All candidates qualified.

A young and practicing midwife who works at the Tumu Municipal Hospital saved the life of a woman in labour by the roadside. She had to work without any medical equipment but still demonstrated great skill to save the life of the unborn baby as well as the mother.    Madam Nawiadima Samankina was seen trying her best to deliver the baby by the street while balancing her own child on her back. She had to cut short her own schedule as soon as she saw the struggling woman on the street. The action took place in a town called Tumu in the Sissala East Municipality of the Upper West Region. It happened close to the Tumu-Bolga road at the roundabout on the 2nd of August 2023.  Assisting her was a physician assistant Mr. Mumuni Sidik and Umuhera Yahaya an Enrolled Nurse.
