The Assembly member of Jeffisi electoral area who also doubles as a professional Nurse Hon. Seidu Abudu Nyangbentu on the 1st of February, 2022 donated cash to one of the basic schools in his electoral area, the donation was received by some SME and PTA members of the basic school. It all started when some members of ASWAJ made an appeal through the Assembly member to the district chief executive of Sissala West, they told him the school was not under government school feeding programme .The caretaker - Malam Yakubu and PTA members of the basic schools in Jeffisi also informed the assembly man how much they spend on yearly bases to feed the pupils.  During one of their PTA meetings they asked the Assembly member to meet the DCE to help put the school on the feeding program. They said when that is done they would be free of the burden of taking on the feeding component. The Member of Parliament for the Sissala West constituency, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu on the 3rd of October 2021 donated 100 bags of cement to Fatchu community to enable them construct a maternity unit at the Fatchu CHPS compound.  This kind gesture of the Hon. MP was a fervent response to an application from the Assembly Member for the Fatchu electoral area, Hon. Issaka Sibiri who made a passionate appeal on behalf of the Chief and other opinion leaders to the MP after the community own initiated maternity facility got ripped off by rainstorm some weeks a go.  The 100 bags of cement was received at a community dubber at Fatchu.   The member of parliament and deputy minister of Sanitation and Water Resources today donated a sum of gh¢11,000 to the Sissala East municipal education office. He said the amount donated was to enable the educational directorate organise an educational seminar for this year's BECE candidates at the various schools. He further said the money will cater for the cost per head for each student and the facilitation fee. The honourable minister also said he will provide fuel for the various circuit centers to transport students in all the schools to the circuit center. He added that plans are far advanced to provide feeding for all the students. In addition to that, he said he was impressed with the novel Wajia Reading Project which is an initiative of the headteacher of Tutco Demonstration to encourage students to read and write.
