Wahidu Saaka of AAM-USTED Wins Overall Best Delegate For United Nations 2021 I mcbashmedia

Ghana International Model United Nations ( GIMUN) is a Program by the United Nations which seek to empower Young individuals from various institutions and other countries. Each person is a Delegate from a particular country and under a particular program. 



Mr. Wahidu Saaka was a Delegate for Nigeria 🇳🇬 and was under the United Nations Environmental Program.( UNEP). Mr. Saaka is also a final year student of Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAM-USTED) Kumasi campus, he also doubles as former minority leader of AAM-USTED, the Judicial Board Secretary for Autonomy hall and the Public Relation Officer for Ghana Muslim Students Association.



At the conference held this year in Accra at University of Ghana Legon, for you to be part of the program. You will write a position paper on the topic given and explain to the conference how your country is managing and the recommendations you will want the UN to implement to solve the problem. At the conference various position papers were tabled for deliberation and acceptance from the united Nations.




After the whole conference Mr. Wahidu Saaka was awarded the best Under his committee that is the United Nations Environmental Program( UNEP) and was awarded the Overall Best Delegate for United Nations 2021. His hard work and commitments to his work both in committee level and the general level propelled him to this highest level. 



For you to join this network Is an application everyone can apply, i challenge students of AAM-USTED and all parts of Ghana to take advantage of this wonderful and educative platform. It will be a plus and one can add it to his or her curriculum vitae.

Speaking to mcbashmedia after winning the two awards, the young and promising student of AAM-USTED said he was dedicating the award to his Late grandfather Mr. Issaku Yakubu.

A young and practicing midwife who works at the Tumu Municipal Hospital saved the life of a woman in labour by the roadside. She had to work without any medical equipment but still demonstrated great skill to save the life of the unborn baby as well as the mother.    Madam Nawiadima Samankina was seen trying her best to deliver the baby by the street while balancing her own child on her back. She had to cut short her own schedule as soon as she saw the struggling woman on the street. The action took place in a town called Tumu in the Sissala East Municipality of the Upper West Region.
