  Education they say is the tool for national development, is time again in the history of public and private universities to admit fresh students to pursue various programs. Akenten Appiah Menka university of skills training and entrepreneurial development (AAM-USTED) Kumasi campus have opened the school portal for fresh students to apply, this is the first time the school is selling forms after the change of name from University of education Winniber to AAM-USTED later last year.  The school have expanded some programs and introduced new courses for the academic year, here is the full communique from the school registry on this year's admission. Robbery And Gunshots At Tanaso Market I Mcbashmedia

This incident happened yesterday at around Tanaso market in kwadaso constituency in Kumasi in the hours of 2AM to 3AM Tuesday, they actually robbed many homes around the market.  An eye witness who spoke to McBash media Mr. Shani revealed that, more than six laptops were taken from the students around there, a student who was coming from campus at that time got himself injured with a knife by the unknown robbers.  Another eye witness who corroborated what Mr. Shani said was Mr. Babia Ganiu, he said the gunshots from the robbers caused a scene and residents around Tanaso came out to see what was happening. Mr. Ganiu said due to the gunshots residents where afraid to go closer to the robbery scene, they have to stay closer to their hostels and was trying to report to the kwadaso police patrol team.  Mr. Ganiu said a gap in communication caused the police to arrive to the robbery scene very late, after the robbers finished robbing and made away with students items, he said the said injure

Mr. Isaac Friko Asunke (Sir IKE) who is a student of AAM-USTED was through vetting yesterday as a contestant for TESCON president, his greatest contender has been disqualified after the vetting process.  The vetting happened yesterday at the New Auditorium by some Ashanti regional executives(NPP), the vetting started from the hours of 1pm to 6pm. All the aspirants for this year elections were present with their supports to cheer them up, the vetting went smoothly after the crunch meeting between aspirants and the Ashanti regional executives of the New Patriotic Party.  The vetting went on and some candidates were disqualified, some of the reasons stated for  disqualifications were; your weak performance in the vetting process (marks obtained below 50%) and the level of education( level 400).   One of the vibrant young politician of  TESCON AAM-USTED  Abigail Osei popularly known as Asompa Abaayewa took a bold decision this morning to resign from contesting  AAMUSTED TESCON WOCOM. According to her, she is a level 400 student and for that matter TESCON Constitution disqualifies final years students ( level 400's) from contesting any TESCON portfolio. Students Spent Hours Looking For Their Examination centers I Mcbashmedia

 Today happens to be a day set by the university community of AAM-USTED to sit for their end of semester examination, students will from now till 30th of this month writing papers upon papers ranging from education courses to programme base courses and which will also include  liberal courses. The first two days are slated for educational courses for all levels in the school, today level 100s wrote communication skills, level 200s wrote Foundamental issues in Special Education and level 300s also wrote  guidance and counseling at 2pm.  Speaking to level 200s students immediately after their paper, they complained of their inability to locate their centers. A student who agreed to speak  to Mcbashmedia undercover said, he spent close to an hour looking for his examination hall to write his paper.  He said the school have no proper system for students to identify their examination centers for exams, he also  said you have to manually visit all halls allocated for that particular course t

 Examination is almost here and most students are wishing their colleagues best wishes, most especially are those having intentions to contest positions next semester. The whole of whatssap and groups have been full with posters and banners showing various candidates and their wishes.  One of the biggest institution which is yet to conduct their elections is TESCON, one of the major conterdar is Mr. Isaac Friko Asunke, he has written an examination wish to students of AAM-USTED,  here is what he wrote on whatssap;   "You have worked hard for this examination, so give your best effort!  If you believe in yourself, you do not have to fear any challenge. Pregnant Women receives Support From NsafoaPregnancyCare I Mcbashmedia

The charity series of NSAFOACARE still continues as the organization presented some items to pregnant and nursing mothers in Akenten Appiah Menka university of skills training and entrepreneurial development (AAM-USTED) called NsafosPregnancyCare,  Over 20 women were present during the presentation.  The charity series of NSAFOACARE care started way back into the semester, he has help students acquire home used phones, he has presented printers and nose mask to GNATOC and NUGS respectively, he is currently vetting brilliant but needy students to pay their fees for them, for teachers on AAM-USTED campus he has help them in several ways.  So today was set to present baby items to pregnant women, the items presented today included; T-roll, sugar, Milo, milk, indome and a drink. 'Respect Our Constitution' - Student Legal Society to SRC I Mcbashmedia

  Students of Akenten Appiah Menka university of skills training and entrepreneurial development Mampang campus is calling on their school SRC to respect the SRC constitution, student legal society said the SRC is violating some provision in SRC constitution. They are therefore calling on the school SRC to implement what the SRC constitution says when it comes to executive elections. AAM-USTED SRC Supports Remar Ghana Orphanage On Easter Monday I Mcbashmedia

 Akenten Appiah Menkah University of Skill and Entrepreneurial Development Students Representative Council in collaboration with Students’ chaplaincy board yesterday supported the Remar Ghana Orphanage at Patasi Branch with the donation of large quantities of food and assorted items for the upkeep of the orphans. The items included; toiletries, detergents, gallons of frytol cooking oil ,bags of sachet water,boxes of kalypo, assorted and soft drinks and many more. The items valued dozens of Ghana cedis.  In presenting the items, the SRC president Mr. Richard Opoku said the donation was part of their bigger plan captured as cooperate social responsibility for the year. He called on the orphanage to put to proper use the items presented them.   In receiving the items, The one in-charge of the organization did thank the SRC, SCB and their team of supporters for putting smiles on the faces of the kids this Easter Monday and plead with other corporate bodies to come and help the orphans. McBash Media whose real name is Bapagu Bashiru Nuhu is a young man who comes from Duu-East in Sissala East municipality of the Upper West Region, he is teacher by profession, a freelance journalist, a radio presenter, social media influenza and a farmer as well.  He was born in Tumu on 04/04/199* to Mr. Nuhu Bukurma Bapagu from Duu in Sissala East municipal and Mrs Samankina Boudu from Kundugu in Wa East district, he grow up with both parents in a family house. Students Of AAM-USTED Compete To Develop A Logo For The School I Mcbashmedia

  AAM-USTED students are in a challenge to design a logo for the school, the challenge was thrown to the entire student body by the school registry.  AAM-USTED which used to be university of education, Winneba -Kumasi campus is now called Akenten Appiah Menka university of skills training and entrepreneurial development (AAM-USTED), due to the change in name and management of the school. The new institution will have to develop its own logo. But there are two popular once which students have developed and leaked to the entire students, they are mocking at some of them.
