INFOTESS which stands for Information Technology Education Students Society has a new department cloth which everyone on campus is talking about, the design and color combinations says it all. The cloth is meant to be distributed to the current level 200s as part of their Souvenirs. 


For every academic year, all departments procure souvenirs for their level 100s when they pay their dues, in most departments the cost of souvenirs are factored into the dues the level 100s will pay. That of INFOTESS is very unique, as other departments just print Lacoste and handover to the level 100s, that of INFOTESS has to print department cloth. "The design, symbols and color combination this year is very great"- Kofi Amofa added. 


The current acting president Mr. Kofi Amofa who broke the news to students said the souvenirs will be given to both level 100s and 200s, he said all level 100s and 200s who have fully paid their department dues are to submit the payment receipt for the collection. The president also added for level 100s who have fully paid their dues is entitled to; a customized Lacoste, note pad and branded pen and level 200s will also receive a department cloth. 





Mr. Amofa said all efforts are being made to leave a mark behind, he said students should have trust in them and they promise never to let them down.

A young and practicing midwife who works at the Tumu Municipal Hospital saved the life of a woman in labour by the roadside. She had to work without any medical equipment but still demonstrated great skill to save the life of the unborn baby as well as the mother.    Madam Nawiadima Samankina was seen trying her best to deliver the baby by the street while balancing her own child on her back. She had to cut short her own schedule as soon as she saw the struggling woman on the street. The action took place in a town called Tumu in the Sissala East Municipality of the Upper West Region.
