Mr Muniru Alengah, the district director of National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) for the Bawku West District has indicated that local residents are the eyes and ears of their neighborhoods and can offer invaluable insights and early warnings about potential threats. He added that as patriotic Ghanaians, they should be wary of the activities of violent extremists in our neighboring countries such as Burkina Faso in which Bawku West District, most especially Kubougo community shares border with and take personal steps to safeguard the security of our communities.
