  As the saying goes, when the last tree dies the last man dies, this is an old saying which is still relevant today. Planting of trees is something which is championed by the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo and his minister for lands and natural resources, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor. Just recently the ministry of lands and natural resources minister led a Crusade to plan 20 million trees across the length and width of the country.  The member of parliament for Sissala East Hon. Amidu Chinnia Issahaku took up this initiative to launch Kroboi club in the sissala East municipality dubbed, "Green Environment Club", these clubs will be dotted across all basic schools in the municipality. The member of Parliament said each school will be given 100 cashew seedlings and 30 mango seedlings to be planted at the school and within the community damp. INFOTESS which stands for Information Technology Education Students Society has a new department cloth which everyone on campus is talking about, the design and color combinations says it all. The cloth is meant to be distributed to the current level 200s as part of their Souvenirs.  For every academic year, all departments procure souvenirs for their level 100s when they pay their dues, in most departments the cost of souvenirs are factored into the dues the level 100s will pay. That of INFOTESS is very unique, as other departments just print Lacoste and handover to the level 100s, that of INFOTESS has to print department cloth. "The design, symbols and color combination this year is very great"- Kofi Amofa added.  The current acting president Mr. Kofi Amofa who broke the news to students said the souvenirs will be given to both level 100s and 200s, he said all level 100s and 200s who have fully paid their department dues are to submit the payment receipt for the collection.

The Information and Technology Education Student Society (INFOTESS)  is one of the association on AMMUSTED campus. It membership is compulsory to all students offering information and Technology Education in the campus, Mr Jones'McCarthy and Kofi Amofa are the current president and Vice President respectively of  the association.  After taking over as the new lead of administration, the executives of INFOTESS quickly went to the drawing board to put things in order. At the beginning of the semester,they started on a bad note since all university lecturers went home demanding for better conditions of service. At this time, first year students of INFOTESS were most affected.  The executive committee  quickly organized an orientation for level 100, it was one of the largest and well attended meeting so far.
