National Union of Sissala Students (NUSS) held it's first general meeting on Saturday 12th June, 2021, it was attended by union executives, members from all level in AAM-USTED. The meeting was actually chaired by the union president Mr. Lemme Tahiru popularly known as Terror, from his speech he spoke about the union success and it's challenges when they took over from their predecessors.  Mr. Lemme said the union have a large number of brothers and sisters since 2018 till date, the numbers are greater now. I reported to this university in 2018 and the number of Sissala Students has quadrupled and has since been increasing yearly . AAM-USTED SRC Donates To Students Who Were Rendered Homeless - By INFERNO I mcbashmedia

The leadership of the Students' Representative Council (SRC) of Akenten Appiah-Menkah University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) yesterday, June 9, 2021, donated to students who were rendered homeless as a result of a fire that gutted their hostels last semester. A similar gesture was extended to a student who was nearly stabbed to death by armed robbers on campus. The affected students were given an appreciable sum of money on behalf of the SRC to support themselves. The gesture was to support and assuage the fears of the students from their momentary afflictions so that they can have peace of mind to go through their academic exercises while on campus. In a brief speech, the SRC Vice President for AAMUSTED, Banu P. Abdul-Raheem said that the donation was an act to support the students who were rendered homeless by the inferno and the one who was nearly killed by armed robbers because of the welfare or general wellbeing of the students is their major
