Cyber Ghana, a non-profit organization based in Accra, Ghana has launched it's maiden edition of National Cyber boot camps and competitions for Senior High Schools in Ghana. An instructor at Cyber Ghana Kwadwo Agyei Baffour said the National Cyber Champion Competition aims to inspire high school students towards careers in Cyber security and its related science technology engineering, and mathematical (STEM) disciplines critical to Ghana's future through competition. He added that the event seeks to encourage and promote a culture of Cyber. Selected schools earlier attended free boot camp training and qualified teams from the various schools and the top teams would meet at the zonal and National levels to compete.  Individual students who exhibited unique skills are enrolled in Cyber Ghana's ongoing magnet program, a free program that seeks to introduce advanced security skills in students while schooling in high schools and universities.
